DO HARD THINGS!!

You all have heard me say here recently to "do hard things" by not buying into the lie that just because you are young you can't accomplish great and mighty things. Jesus tells us as His disciples in John 14:11-14 "Have faith in me when I say that the Father is one with me and that I am one with the Father. Or else have faith in me simply because of the things I do. I tell you for certain that if you have faith in me, you will do the same things that I am doing. You will do even greater things, now that I am going back to the Father. Ask me, and I will do whatever you ask. This way the Son will bring honor to the Father. I will do whatever you ask me to do." If you are tired of living the lie, or feeling restless and anxious because you see the need for change, these words of Jesus should be great encouragement to you as a believer. Welcome to the NEW 8:29 BLOG!
Welcome to the new BLOG for 8:29. We hope to use this space to keep you updated on the activities and worship opportunities through the FBC Troy College Program. This blog will also serve as our anonymous link to you, the Troy students, allowing you to help not only our ministry be more effective, but other on or off campus ministries as well. Only you, the students know what it's like to walk in your shoes, so let us know your thoughts on how to be better servants to God through this ministry. Check back weekly to find out what is happening with 8:29 and Livestrong4Christ. Grace to U!Frank Scarbrough
